Can't access #totse on IRC
This is a bit of a weird one...
Was using IRC this morning, speaking to ibm and oneiros, arguing about something and I was banned from Slashnet itself with "douche" cited as the reason. There were no channel ops there, not that I think they can ban me from Slashnet itself anyways...
Anyone have any ideas on this? It seems I am banned from all channels all across Slashnet. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hahahaha, global ban. Did you flood anyone? There was a Firefox/Safari flaw going around recently that meant if you clicked on a tricky link, it'd cause your browser to CTCP-flood a specified user (it may have been a slashnet sysop that was specifid).
Find their contact email and send them a request asking why your IP was bananaed.

You got banned from the server. Try finding a proxy or something that works and go into #help and complain.

I wasn't flooding, I was just talking to a few trolls in #totse, and bam, connection lost, total ban. 
I've been trying to find a contact email, but there doesn't seem to be one... Only #help, which I can't access because I can't use Slashnet now

Is it possible that one of those douchebags I was talking to had some kind of slashnet authority? I find it odd to have "douche" cited as a reason for a ban, especially when the ban happens right when I'm arguing with those guys...

No, seriously. I was once banned from irc because I said the word "wires" and it made her irc buzz. She's banned so many people for the same reason as well. I wasn't even saying her name, I was talking about the cords for my laptop. I'm not actually kidding.  Fuuuck I hate her.

He's got a global slashnet ban, not a ban from #totse. Neither Wires nor any other ops in #totse can kick you off slashnet... You'd have to piss off a sysop for that.

Might be making progress... Found a slashnet admin's email, so I contacted him about oneiros and my ban... Hopefully he can help. Would be great to see oneiros lose his operator status for this.

Problem solved... Oneiros was just being a huge cunt and banned me for 10 minutes...
I reported him to a slashnet admin regardless... Hope he gets his ass canned.
