So, I use TOR as an endpont cause im nice, and found, after leaving my pc on all day, i am banned from pretty much all the chans. for CP, and "Bitching out people for posting links to government CP trackers"

So heres my question, will the FBI be all nocking on my door?

And I will probably reset my modem to refresh my IP and unblock me.

So, should i be concerned?, and btw imagefap is the one who blocked me, and recorded my IP.

Yes. Immediately DBAN your hard drive. Make sure there is nothing left. There is no way you will be able to escape as the FBI have probably been tracking you and you know how the government is so hardcore about busting pedos. You are screwed.

Hope you learned your lesson about the chans.

You're fine.

Your little equation "TOR + 4chan = banned", is true for everyone. All the proxies TOR uses have been permabanned. This is to stop people signing in to tor, then spamming the boards with child pornography.

If I open up TOR now, and try to browse /b/ then I will get the same banned message as you.

Your details wont have been forwarded to any authorities, however it does serve as a lesson to you. If a bunch of /b/tards can figure out the proxy list the 'uber anonymous' Tor uses, and add them to a ban list, then what do you think the government can do?

I realize this was an attempt (albeit unsuccessful) at being funny, but I think someone needs to remind you that memory != hard drive.

Actually, I know 4chan doesn't ban tor routers (from the list). They just ban the ones the find posting CP.

The feds won't do anything to you. For one, they wouldn't even bother with that, and second, they'll know that you were operating an open proxy during that time. It'll be trivial to find out (googling your IP would do the trick, probably). You aren't liable for any content that goes through your tor node, and yeah, if you got into trouble, the EFF and probably the ACLU would have your back in a heartbeat.

Fixed. And yeah, you're fine. Nothing to worry about.

just to reemphasize this, I've never heard of a tor user being sued for CP and I'm a torizen myself.

You don't have anything to worry about, plus, when you're done being an exit node, you'll probably be able to e-mail moot, p4ch3c0, and kirtaner to get unbanned.

The gov monitors Tor for kind of shit,

Tor is a governmental project to begin with you ignoramus.

I would fix your information if I was you, tor is no longer a "government project" it was developed by a Naval research center like, years ago.

"The Tor software is now developed by the Tor Project, which since December 2006 is a 501(c)(3) research/education non-profit organization based in the United States of America"

The government has no right to watch Tor connections just because they developed it, especially if those might be international connections (like mine) they risk breaking a lot of laws and it's something they would not do. At the most, you have to worry about Tor exit nodes being sniffed by assholes. Either way, people with CP or illegal content rarely get caught if they're using Tor- I think there is one case of this happening almost worldwide.

Um, either way just don't download CP.

Actually, I don't think there are any cases of it happening worldwide. Certainly not with Tor as the attack vector.

It's laughable to claim that the US government "just wouldn't do something like that". They wiretap everything they can get their hands on, just the the EU and China. Of course they monitor Tor. They just can't crack it yet.

Am I the only one that goes to 4chan every once in a while and doesn't look at CP? CP's disgusting. Anyway, I wouldn't think so. The government's got a lot of heavy shit to deal with these days. But, always keep an eye out. Read the text file about how to find out if they are on your tail.

no

as the chanspeak term is, DO IT FAGGOT

So, should i be concerned?, and btw imagefap is the one who blocked me, and recorded my IP.

no you shouldn't. regarding the imagefap thing, I've gotten it and so have a LOT of people. Unless there'e a warrant or some shit you won't get your IP posted. again see

just to reemphasize this, I've never heard of a tor user being sued for CP and I'm a torizen myself.

the Germans have arrested people because a bomb threat was sent through the Tor node though. Also they had some people V& for CP or some shit. though Germany has a shitload of Tor nodes anyway..

The gov monitors Tor for kind of shit,

they're doing a damn shitty job given TorPedo and PedoBay are still up. Arguably some nodes are PartyV& but there's a list of 'suspicious nodes'

Actually, I know 4chan doesn't ban tor routers (from the list). They just ban the ones the find posting CP.

unfortuntely that ends up being most tor nodes. most of the times I browse 4chan when on tor I get B& for CP because most of the nodes and proxies have been blocked....one of the disadvantages of running a node. though I have dynamic IP so ;)

You aren't liable for any content that goes through your tor node

Uh....what? hosting those nodes at least breaks some ISPs' TOS, but isn't there a law broken?

and yeah, if you got into trouble, the EFF and probably the ACLU would have your back in a heartbeat.

I suspected that.

wouldn't surprise me if there's INTERPOL or some shit like that. The UN wanted to regulate the internet recently. US Government pulls some bullshit laws, see Gary McKinnon and those Sex Tourist laws..wouldn't surprise me/

Um, either way just don't download CP.

coming from you :p;):D

that past example of moralfaggotry pulling the DDoS that ended up taking down the entire network means they could shut it down...arguably illegal but eh/

Am I the only one that goes to 4chan every once in a while and doesn't look at CP? CP's disgusting.

yes. I rarely see CP now. Last year it was different. Moralfags kicked out all the old-skool anons out or Moot banned them all away to lesser chans. I don't think people even tell 4chan's /b/ when they spam a smaller chan with CP and post it on 4chan

Eldorhan

4chan's CP problems began just after ORLY made his ridiculous "piece" about them.

Oddly enough Fox noise seems capable of triggering ISP-level FBI wiretapping.

From what was said at the time some admins & posters got in REALLY hot water, which triggered the change in "policy".

Making fun of the partyvan is fun; having the 6 guys who live in it blowing up your door and charging with mp5s in your house because you're deemed "child rapist" by a corrupt and illegitimate authority... eeeeerrr... probably isn't...
